This page explains Honcho's policy on match start times and what your options are if your scheduled time doesn’t work.

❓When will my schedule be available

📆 Scheduling Basics

Schedules are built to be as fair and balanced as possible — here's how it works for each format.

Same-Partner Doubles League Your full regular season schedule is released before Week 1. Start times are assigned using the league software's randomized scheduler to distribute time blocks as evenly as possible. You may end up with more early or late start times some seasons — that's just how the randomization lands. The system does its best to keep things fair across the board.

Ladder Leagues Week 1 pairings are based on your self-selected skill level at registration. From there, your results each week move you up or down the ladder, and start times are randomized within each ladder rung.

For both formats, you may face the same team or players more than once in a season — or not at all. That's a natural part of how scheduling works.

One thing to keep in mind across all formats:

Honcho is not able to accommodate any scheduling requests — start times, specific time blocks, week swaps, or anything in between. If you have a conflict for a given week, your options are to RSVP no (Ladder Leagues) or arrange a sub (all formats).
