Before Your Match
Set-Partner Doubles and Ladder League
Review Your Schedule
- Confirm your match time, court location, and opponent.
- Learn how to access your Honcho league schedule here.
Check for Weather Updates
- Honcho monitors the weather daily and will notify players at least 2 hours (when possible) before match time if delays or postponements are necessary.
- If it’s raining but you haven’t received a notification, contact the venue for updates.
- If weather looks like it will impact play, you’ll be contacted by Honcho (usually via email or the app)
- If 1 or more full games are completed, results stand.
- If only 1-2 games were completed (due to weather, time constraints, etc.), the match is recorded with the number of games completed.
- If a game is cut short but one team reaches 6+, it can count as the full game and be recorded.
- If Honcho sends notice about a cancellation due to weather - please know our team will reach back out with an update on the plan to reschedule once it is in place!

Confirm Opponent Availability
- Honcho will notify you via email if your opponent cancels.
- If your opponent forfeits or no-shows you have options:
- Use the match time for practice and drills.
- Find two friends to play a casual match.
- Swing by 15 minutes early—teams finishing up might be down for a friendly scrimmage!
- Make other plans so you don’t show up to an empty court.
📌 Reminder: Teams are allowed only one forfeit per season. A second forfeit results in disqualification from the regular season and playoffs. We encourage our players to bring a substitute rather than forfeit.
